Despite being a major film buff, I've only seen four of his movies, a back-to-back string of his most recent. The Firm, Sabrina, Random Hearts, and The Interpreter. Only the last I found all that interesting.
I know him mostly as an actor, and in fact wasn't even really conscious of him until he played the villain in Eyes Wide Shut.
"All right, Bill, let's cut the crap."
In the roles I saw him in, he always seemed to be playing the same guy, a foul-mouthed father figure type. I guess he did a pretty good job of that. |
