I'd like to get a MSSE after teaching in Korea to go teach in the states, but after doing some research, I realized there are other things I am interested in doing. If I go for the MSSE I'd specialize in English. I looked at some programs and being a school counselor kind of looks interesting. I also love language, speech, phonology, etc. so maybe being a speech therapist at a school would be fun.
If anyone has degrees in any of these areas, could you tell me a little bit more about them? I definitely want to teach either in elementary or secondary schools. I'm looking at a program that won't take too much of a long time, that is, I don't think right now I'm looking to go for a PhD. A two year Master's program should be sufficient for these areas, no?
Anyways, advantages and disadvantages of the job are things I am looking for. Also, please specify if it is a year round job because I don't know if speech therapists have to work when the kids are out for the summer.
Thanks! |

Man, did you come to the wrong place to get advice on something like that! Most of what you'll get here are smart ass comments.
MSSE? Is that MS in Sports and Exercise? |
