|
|
I recently got a Samsung Visa0 (as a back up for when I travel abroad next month).
Anyway, I got the darn thing and there's no indication of if or how it should be activated. My co-worker (who is Korean) said that it doesn't need it. Huh? I guess I will try it.
But does anyone else have any tips? |

Call their English line and ask em. 02 2000 8438
I don't remember if I had to activate mine or not. It was couriered out to me so maybe I didn't have to. |

As long as you are NOT working at a hakwon AND do have a legal job, with an ARC and NHIC medical booklet you can get a Samsung card.
Try your local home-plus, samsung department store or call them
( 02 2000 8438 ).

It doesn't need to be activated - just use it...
I can guess they gave you 3.2 million won limit (even if you applied for 5 million)
You can withdraw 1.2 million in cash and 2 million on purchases....
BEWARE - they expect you to pay it back FULLY each month (unlike a foreign credit card)... |

When they say activate the card, they mean choose your PIN. I did it by calling their English line and they put me through to their automated PIN-choosing message. No problems using it after that. |
