People really take this stuff?

This HAS to be a misprint.

When I worked in TV, a guy in sales department used to call this "bottom trolling."

Just checked out the ad and it says
"The basic annual salary is 2,322,000 won per month plus 300% bonus"

2.3 for a 12 hour week isn't bad...and what's up with the "300%" bonus?

You're the reason they can do this.

Anyway, it's not "2.3"--it's 2,322,000 a YEAR-- divided by 12, not 10.

THEN, they take out 320,000 from your check to pay for your rent. Mandatory.
Though, the bonus just seems like they mean severance, the average of your last 3 months--probably not 300%.

Oh, and you need an MA. I wonder if they advertised 1.0 for a Uni gig, if some guy who wants to be a "professor" would take 1.0, figuring he could supplement with privates.

It says 2,320,000 a month. If it was "it's 2,322,000 a YEAR-- divided by 12" that would equate to under W200,000 a month...

Secondly, in the ad it says housing is optional (and nowhere does it say that its mandatory to pay for rent if you aren't looking for housing...oh, and they only take 320,000 out for 8 months.)

Seriously, where did you get your MA? Do they take credit cards and do they deliver to Korea?

Oops, was looking at the wrong one. Laughing

Edit: No I wasn't, the ad was changed, as I have the previous edit cached on my desktop as 2,322,000/yr.

On a sidenote, didn't that job used to pay 3.4 a month? They whacked off over a million a month eh? Good job, think I'm done here once I get my M.
Ed done.
