They're flying the 767-300ER on the yvr-icn route.
Great if you are in business class - clamshell suites.
OK in cattle class and they now have individual VOD at each seat and power (for your laptop) in each seat group.
Improved aircraft may mean VOD and increased fuel efficiency but the staff and service are not improved. Same cows with crap attitudes walking in the aisles. Be thankful you are flying on their plane because you could be flying on one of the Asian carriers with better service, great food, free booze and pleasant cabin crews.
The upgraded the aircraft, now they have to upgrade the staff.

well, in terms of shopping around for better services, there's not a lot in the way of options (that I know of) if you want a direct flight from Seoul- TO. it's only 13 hours. if you take Cathay that takes 20 hours and a stop in HK. can't go through the States without running into visa issues and even more time wasted. KE is a lot more expensive than AC. so...
thanks for the info, though. still looking around... |

Have you looked at JAL or ANA? How about EVA?
If your only concern is cheap and direct, then AC is for you and KE is NOT that much more and sometimes they are cheaper. |

| I always fly to Van and then I use Westjet. You don't have to wait long and the service is good. |
