Last night just as I was about to pass out around 1030 or so, just as I was about to drift into unconsciousness, I hear a loud bloodcurling scream coming from a woman, or who knows, it could have been a man.

I thought nothing of it and went to sleep, but then I am awakened an hour later by pounding on my apartment door. Who the hell is knocking on my door, I figure, If I take the Korean stance and ignore it, it will just go away eventually, but no, the pounding on my door continues. All I really want is a decent night sleep which I haven't had in a while, so I get out of bed and open the door a crack, it's the police.

I am barely awake and they are jabbering away about something. The woman next door to me is in the background telling me something about voices, screaming, then I remembered the loud scream I heard right before I passed out. I let the cops into my apartment, took them out to the veranda and pointed out there, tried my best to explain to them that I heard someone screaming about an hour ago, then I shrugged my shoulders and that was that. They thanked me then left.

I live in Sangsudong near Hongdae. I don't know what the point of this post would be other than to watch out if you live around here. I guess someone was assaulted in my neighborhood, or they dropped their cellphone, or there is a random streaker running around. Who knows. Another day starts off exhausted.

I was awoken at 4am by someone vomiting last night. I was equally unhelpful and just turned over. It was the loudest wreching I've ever heard. I was expecting the road to covered in kimchi pizza this morning.

One morning I was heading to my car and I saw some magpies feasting on what appeared to be a frozen pizza in the parking lot. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be some frozen barf. Kinda looked like Budaejjikye (부대찌개).

So was the woman with the cops your neighbor?

Some woman was assualted/screaming in your neighborhood, the cops are called and finally show up an hour later. In their search for what's going on, someone informs them that the screams came from your place.
I would be pretty pissed about that!

The fact that they showed up is something. I think the cops under Lee Myung Bak are doing their job more than before. Anyway, how could they have known where the sound came from? I am sure there are some good cops, but their superiors need to give them marching orders.

I once ate a cheese and tomato toasted sandwich while drunk. Very shortly afterwards, my stomach registered its outrage.

I ran out into the back garden of the house I was drinking in, fell to my knees, and let rip.

I swear to Christ I regurgitated a perfect mini-pizza. The bread was on the bottom, tomato in the middle, and the cheese on top. There was very little splattering given that the vomitus was so viscous, meaning it was in an almost perfect circle.

I was so impressed, I had to summon others to gaze on its magnificence.

I don't know what's going on with the police. Could care less. They were really friendly when they came in. It was really late when they came in, I didn't notice that my balls were hanging out of my boxers as well when I answered the door. I don't know if they noticed or not. Again, I don't care.

Came home from work last night and there was a box of laundry detergent in front of everyone's door, including mine. That's kind of interesting.
