Besides watch BSG multiple times.. posting here 20+ times a day you have time for anything else in your busy life? |
Ummm a job as a senior technical writer at a small funky software company? Setting up my funky apartment that's a 1 minute walk away from the Old Mill subway station (if that means anything to you). Without revealing much, I'll let you google on the pay scales of a senior technical writer. Feel the burn. *pat* *pat* *pat* I don't know if you fully appreciate this, but when you're looking for a senior position, you have cash in the bank to burn, you have in demand skills, you can take your time finding the right job.
So, ummm, hit me up 2 months after you get back to Canada for good and let me know what high paying senior position you've landed, okay? Maybe you'll be changing that avatar from "proud to be canadian" to "proud to be flipping burgers". And I got to point out, if the only thing you've got to be proud about is the patch of dirt some woman shat you out on, well, no wonder I make you feel small. Bahahahahahaha.
Any time you want to compare CVs, join up on linkedin.com, and I'll add you. I'll make you feel even smaller than I do now. *grin*
Sorry, chump. |

My question is why the *beep* with this all mighty job of Mindmetoo is this freak hanging around dave's? Seriously he/she doesn't work or live in Korea yet they post here for no apperant reason. |

This thread deals with Battlestar Galactica. Back to that...
Can someone explain the cat? Was the cat just his way of dealing with his lost family and the attack? Was the cat ever really there?
Sometimes this show gets a little too subtle in its plots and subplots. |

There was no cat. It was a figment of his imagination. |

Psychological coping mechanism for his wife and children? That was why Lee gave him the dog, to start anew with an actual pet this time?
But I was pretty sure an actual cat jumped onto Roslin's desk in Season 3. And that Lee actually saw a cat's decomposed body in that bag. Wierd. |

| The cat was a cylon. They need pets too. Liked the fisty-cuffs between Adama and Saul. |

To slap you down. You're an English teacher, yes? The bar certainly has been lowered. |

| I'm not sure how I feel about this ep. It was nice to see that lawyer guy again, you could see Apollo being the new president from the start of this ep. That was a no brainer. You would think he'd have the wisdom to realize it was playing into Baltar's screed about Adamas being in charge all the time. |

Please keep the discussion to BSG. If you want to compare wang size then find a room. None of us really know anything about each others opportunities or payscales so why bother?
I like the sudden appearance of Jake. Nice little nod to continuity. Athena humming that tune to her baby was also interesting. It's the same old Korean folk tune that Boomer sang to the Raider back in season 1. Lee being chosen was obvious, so I guess that's why they played up the whole pistol bit. For a second there I thought we'd found the last cylon.
Something else. Caprica is pregnant. Yet back in season 2 it was stated that Cylons (at least the significant seven) just couldn't reproduce "The DNA wasn't compatible." That was the whole point of the Helo Athena subplot. |

temporary, stfu. it's an off-topic board. what the hell does bsg have to do with living and working in korea? nothing. thats why its called "off-topic" so why does someone have to live here to post here? no reason
back to bsg
it's starting to get a bit tedious. too many talking heads episodes and not enough action. not even any serious tension. adama gets mad at someone, then he's making up with them. and you could see the lee as president 3 jumps away
change of subject, but did anyone else think racetrack said "fvcking" and not "fracking" at around 15:00? |

| At least we know the story will end with season 4. Not like Lost which became so distended because of popularity that it lost (haha) all its momentum. |
