Today is my 1,006th day in Korea and my last. Well, by "in Korea" I mean as a working resident rather than physically present. I've been physically present in Korea for perhaps 940 days of that 1,006.
Anyway, to those foreigners I've met and liked, goodbye and good luck. To those foreigners I've met and not particularly liked, well, whatever, eh? To those foreigners I've not met but would have liked to perhaps - good luck to you too.
I'm gonna move in with one of my oldest and best friends. I've saved an absolute shitload of dosh in Korea and can afford to sit on my arse and do squat, zilch, niente, nada, absolutely bugger all, for as long as I like. I really need to get out of Seoul's pollution and have a bit of peace and quiet. Also, I've written several songs recently - 1,006 Days (Goodbye Korea) is one - and I'd like to record them professionally (I play keyboard, guitar, bass and sing reasonably well).
So, er, yeah! My plane leaves at 8pm. Don't worry, JH fans, I'll still post in the OT and CE forums. |

Don't waste your time making tunes. The only people to buy your albums will be gullible children and weird chronic mastrbators who collect obscure music. Instead of sitting around, go get a job and make something of your talent. Sell used cars! |

best wishes. Sounds like you've made good use of your 3 years in Korea.
I recommend a nice beach with lots of local women nearby.
may the world be your oyster. |

Wow, it's like a prison convict hearing about an escape plan he can't partake in.
I wish you best of luck but am curious: you really have enough money to do nothing and not worry about it for as long as you like? Are you middle aged and retired, or do you have a few thousand and plan to live with someone in Thailand while suntanning on a beach full time? |

Oh thank god for that. I was worried there that I might never read another thread about how only fertile women have any sort of attractiveness whatsoever again. Now I can sleep at night. |

Another one who couldn't pass the new regs no doubt.
This is day 1,600+ for me. Got here in Nov. '02 during Noh's campaign for president. |

Shit, you guys count days. More than 3100 for me. But then, I ain't saved a dime. It all goes to my kids. Damned fertilty. Damned with it.
Cut your willy cords Justin!!!
Seriously, don't waste time wherever you go and don't get stuck in a rut like in a dead end job. Live purposefully and follow your aspirations. Good luck.

Sounds like a boy whistling in the dark to keep up his spirits.
Don't worry. Everything will work out for the best.
God bless you and keep you Justin Hale. |
