| I'm not sure about where/when these classes are. Is the Seoul Global Center the same thing? Can one just come and go as one pleases? Any info is appreciated. |

I haven't been in quite awhile, but here's the info I remember.
They are in the "culture center" inside the "Joins.com" building. I don't remember which exit you take at city hall, I think it's exit 1 or 9, but whatever exit it is, you need to walk on the road that leads to Seodaemun station. The Joins.com building is on your left and says "Joins.com" in huge letters at the top. There is a concert hall inside and a culture center/museum. You have to walk through the culture center, up some stairs and to the offices/classrooms.
Classes were 1,000 won a month. Classes met every week. You had to attend 3 out of 4 classes and pass a test to advance to the next level.
The Hangeul class was great and everyone learned to read and write in 1 month (4 classes). After that, the speaking classes were really poorly designed, at least the one I went to. There were very little structure, we didn't follow the daily worksheet, and the sentences we where repeating often didn't have any kind of English translation. Self-studying was more effective than going to that nonsense, yet some of my more-advanced friends went to the upper-level classes for quite awhile. |

| Really? I've already done the last two classes at YBM but I quit b/c of too much seumnida/shimnida. This sounds like more of the same. Thanks for the info. |

| Seoul Global Center has moved since then. Its in the Press Center Building (I also can't remember the exit, but its the City Hall station and there's signs) on the 3rd floor. Classes are free, once a week. Google Seoul Global Center and you will get their info. |

You must take the placement test at the end of the month for the following month's courses. |
