OK. Hi all. It's been a number of years since I have been in Korea. Having just arrived from the Philippines a few weeks ago I was wondering what Korean women are like. Now I know we are going to be speaking here in generalities. For example, I could say that (with a few exceptions) if any Caucasian man was to go to the Philippines I would let him know that if he was to give a Filipina just a little bit of attention with his time, money or smiling glances a Filipina would be ready to marry him.
So what does it mean if a Korean woman continually smiles at you? |

Hmmm... I've never seen this happen.
Honestly, most of the (single) Korean women I've seen expect to be treated as princesses. Unless they've been unsucessful when they "tried" to get married, and they are of a marrying age (starts to panic right around 28-29). Then they become demure, coquettish, and the perfect little woman. Until they get married.
Younger women treat their boyfriends like puppies that are brought to heel, and expected to dote on them, respond to their pouting, calm their tantrums, carry their bags, and help them shop. They expect to be showered with gifts. Imagine a spoiled, california-vally-girl.
There are more men than women in Korea. Many men (particularly in the countryside) have to take a foreign bride (cambodian, vietnamese, chinese), because their money and lifestyle isn't sufficient to attract a female.
White guys (I've heard) have it easy in terms of getting laid, but most women wouldn't consider them to be long-term material. |

Stop hitting on married mothers! (at least in public) They could go to prison for adultary!!! |

| If she's constantly smiling at you there's a good chance she wants a piece, just like a girl from anywhere else. Honestly all the negativity on this board put me off the idea of a local girl - there are enough cute white girls here with whom I have about a thousand times more in common. |

No. This also does not apply to girls from "anywhere else." People smile to be kind. Many Koreans smile because they are nervous around foreigners. If everyone one in the world hooked up due to smiles, we'd be fucking on the sidewalks.
Korean women are more conservative than most of their their Asian counterparts. Even if they do hook up with you, they won't be ready to marry foreigner or even tell their family they are with a foreigner. |

Yup. And in the west when they do the stroppy thing it's normally a challenge and they respect it when you put your foot down hard. Here ....well.....they do it all the time and actually expect to get their way......it's intolerable. Korean woman of the above description are below cannobalistic, midget pygmies on my dating priority list. |
