Wow! Never seen hail in Korea. The stuff that hit my house in Itaewon was the size 100 won coins. Ill try and up load the pics / movie later. Maybe this will keep the protests off the streets tonight?

No hail over here and I'm north of Seoul. Moderately crazy rain though.

And you didn't pull over? It's rather unsafe to ride a motorcycle in the rain. I usually pulled under an overpass when it was raining hard.

I first encountered it in Myeongdong as the steps leading up from exit 9 had been turned into a literal WATERFALL.

yep the rain can be unsafe to ride in, especially when visibility is low and drivers are driving poorly (sometimes they do sometimes they don't...hard to say why). Today the cars were all pulled over or driving slowly so I felt no threat from them. The rain on the roads is perfectly manageable on the other hand unless of course it's so deep that it fills the muffler. So it was really fun to ride in the rain today. Ice, now that's a different story.....

Haha I was in class all night, but you know it's bad when students come in with drenched clothing, even though they still had their huge umbrellas...

Some day a real rain is going to come and wash all the scum off the streets.
