I've seen a few comments on this already but it's always treated as an incidental issue, just like it is here. It's NOT incidental! It's huge! Dammit!

I've hear about this a number of times and it's good news. I heard it's from September so I hope the details are announced soon.

This should lead to schools treating teachers better and will allow the market to regulate itself more...

Does anyone know more details?

I believe this is wishful thinking. Last I heard this does not apply to E-2 or E-7 visas. It does however apply to other E-series visas.

The article and others that I have read say it's for E2 visas...

Even if this does happen, you have to know that hagwon owners will just find some creative clause to throw into their contracts to counteract it.
