I'm moving in June and I am forced to sell my hippie van, Pedro. Honestly, it's like losing a good friend. He's a super fun ride and despite what you may think, he's in good shape. I bought him in Sept/Oct of 2006 and since then he's been easy to keep up. Here are the deets:

Pedro runs on LPG. That means gas is cheap and your carbon footprint is low. He gets about 420 kilometers per tank and it's usually around 25,000W to fill it. I am willing to deliver and help with insurance and transfer of title, etc.

1996 Kia Towner
100,000plus Kilometers
5-spd Manual
AM/FM cassette (will throw in ipod converter)
Moon roof
Power windows
Seats 5 W/ room luggage, gear, etc.
Awesome paint job
New tires (2006)
New timing belt (2006)
I've replaced gear shift assemblies and other assorted transmission parts
Just passed emissions test
Runs great
LPG
Half price tolls & parking
Some quirky bits, but I can explain everything

I paid 700,000 for him and have spent maybe 200,000 in repairs (which are usually pretty cheap).

Please let me know if you're interested.

cool van.. "new" would tend to refer to 2008 rather than 2006 as far as auto parts go

25,000 won to fill it? Really?

My motorcycle tank is 11 liters and that's around 20,000 won to fill, give or take 1,000 won.

Keep in mind that Pedro runs on LPG. Currently LPG is about half the price of normal gas here in the DaeHan, so roughly it's about 25,000 - 30,000 depending on if he has some LPG in him or if he's bone dry.

Good for our mother! Reduce your footprint.

ps. Depending on how big your cycle is, the engine size may not be that much different. Smile

That's wicked. I don't need a car, I hate being stuck in traffic, but hippie vans rule.

Hey everyone, thanks for your questions. I'm asking about 600,000 for Pedro. He's worth every penny and if there was any way I could put him in my shipment, I'd take him with me!

I've got a few people lined up to look at him, so it might be a while before I schedule any more appointments, but if you're interested, please do let me know.

I just bought one of these. If it's in good condition, it's a wonderful van. I love mine. You forgot to mention that since it's a Korean vehicle, parts are easy to get.
