|
|
I know this topic is pretty played out, and if the search filter weren't such a jerkface, I'd use it instead to answer my questions.
Anywho...
My parents are coming for a couple of weeks this month. It's their first time away from the USA, other than Canada, and they're in their early 50s. What activities do parents tend to enjoy?
What have you tried successfully?
Any helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks a bunch. |

Where are you located?
My aunt and uncle (a bit older than your parents) came to visit Busan and they really enjoyed strolling through the fish market, going up the cable car, and eating bulgogi cooked at our table at a restaurant where we didn't have to sit on the floor. |

Oh yeah, I'm located in Ilsan.
Good suggestions on the fish market in Busan, etc.
And TEMPORARY: Korea is cool, especially if you're only here for two weeks. |

Two Weeks!! Wow. A long weekend might be cool, a week driving holiday round the country might be OK (Mokpo, Jindo etc are surprisingly interesting), but 14 days.....Jesus!
See if you can swing some vacation time, and spend 4-5 days in the ROK and then a quick (5 days) n cheap package to the Great Wall of China- if they haven't travelled much it would probably be a blast. The tours are quite structured, but they may be fine with that. If they are confident, maybe they could go by themselves while you work. |
