I just arrived in Anyang a few days ago and would like to meet some teachers! I start teaching tomorrow but would be up for doing anything this weekend (including Friday holiday!)!!

If by anyang you mean Pyeonchon when I was there last there, there used to be a gathering on wednesday nights around 10pm at the ob bar (you might have to ask for directions), kinda of hard to describe

Tell us about yourself. 20-30 year old, non-drinking, mountain climbing, conversation having, awesome person = yes, 57 year old alcoholic = no.

Why is it that every time someone asks to meet up some ass has to ask if she's hot? If that's all you're interested in then go to Itaewon.

For the record, Club Psycho is a popular hangout, but not usually on weeknights. You can go alone on a weeknight and talk to Yujung who likes the company when it's slow. She'll kick your ass at pool though. http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=90222&highlight=club+psycho

I think we've scared her off anyway.

Oops. Sorry about that... but yeah, if you come to Psycho, you'll likely meet the lot of us -- mostly pretty swell folks.

What makes you so sure I'm a "chick" at all?

No - really - I am not so sure if I'm a "hot chick" since I don't know what that really means!

But I am...

-a female in her late 20's
-someone who enjoys an evening out w/ fine food, a few drinks and good conversation
-wanting to explore all of Korea
-up for outdoorsy stuff like running, hiking, etc.

Take it or leave it...

I can help you out with the fine(ish) food, the drinks and the conversation, but anything outdoorsy you'll have to see Robot about. There are very few decent restaurants in Anyang (unless you really like eating greasy slices of pig) but I can put you on to the diamonds in the rough.

Oh, and sorry for asking if you're a hot chick. That's not really what I'm like. I was being funny.

Hi there, you should check out www.adventurekorea.com ]for the outdoorsy stuff. There are lots of us girls who've been going on these trips alone and it's been fabulous this year.

I'm sure it looks like I'm new but I've been here awhile. I'm late twenties, going on 30 next year. This is my second time in Korea-was here August 2005-06. Been teaching abroad for 5 years.

I found Pysho to be just another dive-sorry if some of you really like it. You can find me at [email protected] if you want more info, there are more single girls in Korea than those that post here on Dave's
