Is there an English speaking number for the National Pension Scheme, and if so, what is it?
Also, will they tell you your balance over the phone? |

Yeah, well your new one is too wide.
Why do people sometimes use huge avatars?
OP, your boss is a fkg wing nut, and you should've been checking your account. I made sure to check my account after I had had it deducted a couple of pays. Sure enough, there was nothing in there. They always try to get away with sheet in Korea. After all, why pay if you don't have to? That's the motto in Korea. |
Yes, I should have been checking my pension account regularly. Just because they start doesn't mean they're going to continue. If you want to learn about making sure to check your working visa status, and not just blowing that off too, check yingwenlaoshi's most recent post. |

Ha ha ha ha ha ... I saw somebody try that line in Australia a couple of years ago. The response: "No, I'm dealing with your case. You will do what I say and nothing else. You will do it or will suffer. I will not let you speak to a supervisor as you are tying to blow this situation out of proportion. Do what I have told you, now leave the building". The "foreigner" that the Australian-Vietnamese was talking to constantly looked at the floor at the floor and left the building. I eneded up getting that guy serving me! I told him he was an asshole and refused to accept his service and that I would wait for another person due to the way he had treated previous customers (aint medicare great), I then asked to see the manager (*got to see them) and made a complaint about the fool (Shame I was never believed, maybe I'm tanned but not yellow enough). |

My visa status is fine and I knew it was. In fact I'll probably be able to get an extension.
And I have three years' worth of pension in my pension account. Plus interest.
So there. |

I had this exact situation happen to me. The Pension office told me that it was not their job to collect the pension. My ex-boss ended up pocketing all the money. |
