-> Buy/Sell/Trade forum -> WTB Taboo
I don't know, you could try to be one of the first people to respond to the various sellers that have popped up over the last month or so.... I have always been too slow to get them though |

I don't know where you can buy it... But you could probably *order* it from Amazon.com, or go to Bandi-Luni's in COEX, or Kyobo books and request to order it.
However, for a classroom environment, you can make your own.
Use the vocabulary from the book, and write a list of "taboo" words for each vocabulary word. For example... for BIRTHDAY... You could have "party, born, cake, happy, present".
Two teams. Bring one person from each team up to the board, facing the classroom. Write the words they cannot say, and then their target word.
The team has to try to describe it, without saying the taboo words. If they suceed, they get a point. If they fail, the second person at the board gets a chance to guess.
A lot of times the words from the real game are too difficult for ESL students. |
