For a blast of handsomeness (and wicked humour, considering the actual setting) watch the first 30 seconds of this:

It's a famous scene that some of you may be familiar with. |
Wow thanks for the link BB. He was absolutely gorgeous! And he made dancing look so effortless. Exquisite. |
I'm glad you liked it. He's astonishingly beautiful. I'm not generally that fixated with male beauty, but I could gaze at him for hours. He looks like a wonderful work of art. And then he starts to dance...! Here's a few more clips of him dancing.
Tribute to Rudolf Nureyev
Rudolf Nureyev - Excerpts
And here is a very short clip of him dancing with Margot Fonteyn - one of the most extraordinary partnerships in dance history. I've never seen anything more beautiful than he and her partnered.

| bogey666, Dolph is handsome & has a great bod but he just doesn't have that 'wow' factor for me. As stated in previous posts, for me there needs to be something behind the handsome facade. Does Dolph have something else that makes you keen on him, or is it only because he looks good? I don't know much about him except that he starred in a couple of dodgy movies - didn't he? Or am I confusing him with someone else? Yes I could google it but can't be stuffed to do so. Easier to just ask you. |
I agree. He doesn't do it for me either. I think he looks like a typical meathead. Though you phrased it so much better |
I fully concur.. He does bugger all for me. |

well the wow factor is very very individual and that's the way it should be.
I, unlike some others, am also able to fully and completely isolate the physical looks from the other factors that influence a person's choice on attractiveness. This doesn't mean I judge ONLY by physical looks, not at all, but I AM able to fully seperate.
I like Dolph because he has the body and frame and height that I'd like to have.. I could never ever tolerate having a ballet dancer's completely emaciated physique. That's just way too "gay" - for my tastes anyways.
Does Dolph have somewhat of a meathead look.. on his face? yes, I think he does a bit -- his features may be OVERLY angular and I think he's paying the price for those "stud" looks now in his middle age - the most recent pics I have seen of him show he's not aging very well.
Does Nurueyev have more "interesting" features on his face? and perhaps displays more "character" (as hard to pin that down as it is?) Yes, perhaps.. I would fully grant that.
I just could never have his body and since I'm blonde and blue eyed and like classical Greek athletic physiques, I relate more to people with my genetic markers.
certainly the ballet dancer has had a far more interesting life and career, and it's likely a conversation with him would be far more fascinating.. but as noted. I am able to completely seperate the physical from everything else (even though they can never be fully seperated, witnessed by Nureyev having an "interesting" face) |

oops sorry.
meant to say I'm more of a "poor man's Dolph Lundgren than a poor man's Nurueyev, ergo I relate to Dolph. |
