^Considering that Youngdongpo is the 'hood' of Seoul, probably cheaper than average.
I actually like Youngdongpo but a good rule is to stay away from it or indoors at night. |

Thanks for inquiring about the paintings. I added them to the link:
http://picasaweb.google.com/eddyfreddy/ForSale
You should be able to view them better there, and I posted the dimensions.
I'll be happy to email you photos also; let me know.
I'm the artist, so I don't have a firm price. Will take an offer.
Trompe L'Oeil Tulips 5ft x 18 inches
New Mexico Landscape 38 X 57 inches
Sunflower Arrangement 32 X 36 inches

I really like this DVD player. I was thinking about buying the Oppo DV-981HD but I guess I'll wait until they sell a BD player. By any chance, do you have the componet cables for the TKDS player?
Componet cables are hard to find in the Yongsan electronic market. |

Just curious why you'd buy the 981 over the 980H? I own the 980H, which is cheaper, and man... great picture. I've also got a PS3 40gb. Sadly, Korean prices on stand-alone Blu-ray players are terrible. The PS3 40gb is about 330,000 now. |

How's the Krups working these days? It looks like it's been around. How old is it?
Thanks,

No particular reason, I know the 981HD uses the Faroudja chip for the upconversion which might have slightly better picture quality than the 980H. If that's not the case than 980H would be my choice.
The PS3 might be adequate for Blue Ray but I heard the upconversion for standard DVD's is sub par. I'll wait for Oppo to come out with a Blue Ray player, hopefully it will be out next year.
On a side note, I did manage to find someone near the steps of the above ground tunnel, at Yongsan, who sells HDMI, DVI to HDMI and component cables. All the cables are 2 meters except the component cables, which are 1.5 meters. The price is 8,000 won for all the various cables. |
