Anyone know which airports in the UK have flights to South Korea? I'm guessing it's only Heathrow? |

Never seen any flights direct from UK to Korea.
Usually seen ones going through London, Hong Kong or Japan.
Next month we're going Seoul, France, Edinburgh. |

No coffee this morning?
AFAIK, Korean Air fly direct Incheon-Heathrow. But it's usually very expensive. You pay a lot more for those starched scarves the stewardesses wear!!
The cheapest way to London is often Lufthansa via Frankfurt. No frills. I've always paid around 550 pounds. Depending on season. |

I've flown with Emirates and Royal Thai and it's been cheap - about five hundred sterlings both times.
However, I'm flying to New York and London next month and it's costing me a frigging fortune - twice what I've paid in the past, most of which is tax. Tsk. |

There are flights that fly from Manchester. Lufthansa has a route that is Seoul-Frankfurt-Manchester. |

i'm flying to Dublin, but stopping in tokyo for five days of travel, booked it on the mulitple city option through expedia.com, it cost 545 so about 430, i know if i was to go the same route but get off in london, not dublin it was almost 100 cheaper....to take a flight from either seoul or tokyo to dublin, one way cost 1200 but the mulitple city one was excellent value.
oh yeah, book through expedia.com, expedia.co.uk has more expensive prices for some reason!!! |

I've been scratching around looking for a flight home in August. Seems the cheapest I've seen is Gimhae, Hong Kong, Heathrow for about 700 sterlings. The HK connection is with either Cathay or BA. Tempted to go back with BA so I can touch down in T5. It's not a bad flight. Think the total travel is around 15-hours or so with just an hour in HK.
If anyone knows of any cheap flight websites, please post them.
Cheers |

Who are you, Alan Wicker?
You're right, no coffee yet today.
When looking for flights, I can't recall seeing the Incheon-Heathrow choice!
Maybe the seats are taken quickly, or just crazy expensive.
Got to fly on to Scotland. Got Emirates to Glasgow before, about 500 pounds but it is 2 long flights of between 7-8 hours each.
KLM seats go very quickly, but maybe next time.
Got a good deal from Sancho with Air France to Edinburgh via Paris. |

I flew Edinburgh > Heathrow on BMI and then Heathrow > Incheon on Asiana. That seemed to be the cheapest route at the time. |
