Somehow I feel like an idiot that I don't know the answer to this question. I know what OP means, (as in "the OP needs to do some research.." or whatever) but what does it stand for?????????????

Huh? I was led to believe it stood for Omniscient Pr!ck. As in, "I totally agree with what the Omniscient Pr!ck said", or "I think the Omniscient Pr!ck needs to get his facts straight." No???

BS.Dos, awww...now that was just mean! (Actually I had a wee chortle myself - who the heck says chortle these days? - as I had to figure it out myself the first time I saw the letters OP).

Note to self: thank goodness I took all those computer classes at college. The geek-speak I learned there has totally stood in me in good stead when it comes to working out TLA's (three letter [or fewer] abreviations). Hoorah for being a geek!

I'm proud of the OP for admitting that they don't know what OP means since so many people use it in so many different contexts that it's pretty obvious that almost no one knows exactly what it stands for (including myself).
