Has anybody else been required to have a credit check by there recruiter. I had to pay ten bucks to get one. And I am wondering if i really needed to do it and if i should check out other recruiters.

I think your recruiter required a Criminal Check not a Credit Check.

Even if your credit check was apostilized/notarized your rating would not be good enough to work in K-land. Wink

You do NOT need a credit check (unless you are working at/for a bank).

You need a criminal check (criminal background / criminal record) check.

I think something was lost in the translation or pronunciation.

Sounds like a scumbag recruiter who wants to commit some identity theft.
