Hi
I have a telephone interview with a university coming up soon, and was hoping some people here would recommend some questions that I should ask.
Thanks.

I've never had an interview with a University before but I'm willing to think that most of your questions should be about education. How many Students per class, How are they graded, Ask about the lesson plan and if you're allowed to do different things outside of it if you feel the need to. Ask about the University itself and what it's students are like. Also consider the the University's reputation. How highly ranked is it in the country. After the education questions focus on the working hours and the amount of students per class. Then if you feel comfortable ask about the apartment and pay. Then, if it sounds good, starting dates.
Basicly, in my experince, any and all questions actual work are the most important and other things: apartment, vacation time and pay should be second. |

Thanks for your reply.
I agree with everything you posted.
What I was wondering about (and unfortunately wasn't clear enough in my post) were questions about on campus/off campus housing, visas, being able to work outside of the the university, etc... essentially all the things that you really don't know about until you've experienced it. |
