did anyone dress up for the interview at the consulate?

im back home in the US,i got my interview tomorrow and have already finished 2 contracts in korea. after reading how much of a joke the 'interview' seems to be,ill probably go casual and wear shorts.

did anyone dress really dress up for theirs?

while i was there dropping off paperwork, i saw 3 people waiting for interviews. all were dressed nicely (not full suit, but dress pants and white button dress top)

I dressed up, but realized I didn't have to. One guy wore shorts and still got his visa. The interviewer was also three hours late! Yes, I waited in my car the whole time.

I had my interview about 2 months ago at the consulate in Vancouver. They told me specifically to wear a suit for the interview. I didn't see any other guys at the interview, but all the women were dressed professionally.

If its in Atlanta you can wear jeans and a nice shirt.

Seriously the interview consited of less than 3 minutes of talk about why Korea is so wondeful. It is the biggest joke. And its definaltely not formal in ATL. The whole time I am thinking I paid $400 out of pocket to get here for this, biggest joke!!! They did not even ask me about kids, not once!!!
