I was on Diane 35 for a few years here and last November a new regulation was passed. You now need a prescription for Diane 35 in Korea.

Point being if you looked at the link & can't work out what it is then you don't have to worry about what it is. You are a guy right? If a chick was asking (not that she'd need to I hope) I'd be happy to explain but seeing this is a thread for chicks I don't want to put in the effort to explain what this is to a guy.
Hmmm does that make sense to you? Doesn't particularly to me on a reread but meh, can't be bothering translating.

Hi again Stormy, You always give the best answers when ever I have a question. I've had a few girlfriends and have never seen one of these things. I know it's for menstration ( I think), but can you tell me what the pointy side is for? I'm thinking it works like the stem of a wine glass. Rolling Eyes

Popping it in and taking it out. The wine glass analogy isn't bad.

Oh you flatterer you...and yes it does get you a long way.

Ok the 'cup' itself catches the flow. The longer piece isn't hollow - it's basically how you extract it. You can trim this to a comfortable length (seeing as a woman's size can vary) then that's the handle if you will.
Guys might go eeew at this but menstruation is simply a fact of life....an important one seeing it's directly linked to procreation of the species.

Items like these have so many benefits....
1. They're cost effective (try buying a couple of dozen tampons every month of your life & see the costs add up!).
2. They're better for the environment as you're not disposing of said tampons enmasse each month.
3. They're comfortable when you get used to them.
4. They're convenient as you don't have to hunt down a toilet with a place to get rid of aforementioned tampon whenever you leave the house.

If you find this explanation too graphic for you boys then feel free to exit this thread. Wink

Thanks again Stormy! I found this on that website which explained a lot http://www.mooncupsandkeepers.com/usage.html . I was confused because in that picture the stem does look hollow, and then what would the point be. Since I'm getting an education, and I don't have to worry about ever meeting anyone on here, I have one more embarrassing quesiton Embarassed . This might sound stupid, but wouldn't the blood coagulate in there making it difficult to clean? Also, have you ever run into a girl in the public bathroom cleaning it out in the sink? That would be gross.

If you empty it regularly it doesn't have time to coagulate & no I have not ever observed anyone cleaning it out in a public bathroom sink....and yes that would be rather gross.

As for never meeting anyone on here don't count your chickens....I've seen a pic of both you (allegedly) & your taxi driver so you just never know...

Just in case anyone needs to know, if you need an equivalent to Lo-Ovral, the name of the korean version is Myvlar. Hopefully this'll spare someone from the giggling and freak show attitude from the receptionist at your local doctor/hospital. Rolling Eyes
I also got a 15 minute lecture from the doctor about BC and weight gain, even though I've been on it for years. All I have to say is, do you realize how much weight gain is involved with childbirth? More than the 5lbs I may have gained from this..
