So I'm new in Anyang and am looking for a gym and/or a park to run in. Anyone know of a good place? I also wonder if there is a running club/group in Anyang? Thanks much! |

Hi, Sand. I am new to Sanbon, which is close to Anyang. I don't know about running groups, but there is a nice park with a track close to where I live. I also saw your previous post & I too am up for doing some hiking and exploring Korea. Plus, I don't care how hot you are like a previous poster. I am just looking to meet new people with whom I can enjoy good conversation. |

Zapp - thanks for the info. Yeah - I found out there is a really nice trail behind my apartment that go all the way into Seoul...maybe we're talking about the same trail. Does the trail run parallel with a stream... Do you happen to be a runner? I'm looking for a running partner! Are you pretty new to the area? I want to do some hiking but I'm not sure where to go. Let me know if you want to hit the mountains sometime or have suggestions on where to go. Toodles! |

Yep, I'm a newbie. I've been in Korea for 10 days now. Actually, I was referring to a 6-lane or so running track in a park. I like to run about 3 times a week, but I prefer to do so playing soccer or basketball. I haven't found a regular game for either yet, so I am definitely up for running sans ball. My boss also mentioned some trails with great views that go up into the mountains over here in Sanbon. I sort of know where the entrances are. I don't think they wind their way into Seoul, but that trail sounds cool too.
I can't PM yet so here is my email address: [email protected]
Shoot me an email & I'll respond with my #. |

I'm in the area but I don't particularly like physical exercise. However, if any of you are willing to be interesting in more conversational ways, you can contact me via PM or via [email protected] |
