1. What are you thoughts on teaching through SMOE? Past experiences? Housing?

2. When teaching elementary classes in China, books are provided that you teach out of. You can also do other things to make the class more interesting, but having some type of base to work with is important. Do Korean public elementary schools provide this for foreign teachers?

1. TONS of info on previous threads and in the FAQs.

2. Yes, they give you books, most teachers can do other things, it varies with the school you are placed at.

My last old school (PS High school)

I asked my illustrious ( rather idiot) ! male co-teacher
if the school had any videos, just to like put on for
most of the lesson for my 3rd years one afternoon

in reply a vague look and " no we dont have any videos"
this being about 5-6 weeks ago..
The language "lab" actually did have a few unsure if they were for me/ the other teachers or other language teacher
