I'm sure I'm not the only one whose life has been touched by this guy's music. For those of you who are interested, I just found out that everything he ever recorded can be listened to on his website:
http://www.ronhawkins.com/backstage/index.cfm
Just sign up, click on 'Ron Radio' and you're in business. For those of you who aren't familiar with his music, if anything's worth a try, this is.
Listening to '1994', 'small victories', 'the tame, the wild, the half-born and you' is as close to a religous experience as I can manage.
Hope some of you enjoy this.
Cheers |

I loved Shakespeare My Butt. I saw them a couple times in Concert. Too bad they burned out quickly. |

This guy's been touring with Weddings Parties Anything in Australia, who have covered some of his songs. I've been singing his songs in pubs for years and never even knew it.
Thanks for the link. |

In case you're interested, Hawkins went on to make more (and in my view better) music after the Low broke up. If you have a minute, hop on the site, log in and listen to '1994' and 'the tame, the wild, the half-born and you'.
It's really worth the effort. |
