Which one in Busan?
There are a few, my wife worked at one. She didn't like it. She quit within six months. Mind you, she said conditions were better for foreign teachers. The foreigner at her school only taught students how to play the guitar and games. |

I work at the Eastern English in Jangyu - apparently there are about 600 hagwons under the Eastern Franchise in Korea. The school I work for is professional, and I have no complaints. I personally know of 2 other Eastern's (both in Changwon), at which the foreign teachers are happy too.
I would think the one in Busan would be good too, as there would be standards that have to be maintained, being a franchise with a Headquarters in Seoul. |

I worked at the one in Daeyeon. They treated me well for the most part. It was my first job in Korea, was paid late a lot, but was an OK job.
Since then, I know they've changed owners...
Good Luck.. |

The schools are in Buam, Busanjin, and Gupo. We will rotate schools. Thanks again everyone. |

Do you need to get permission from Korean Immigration to work outside the place of employment? |

I am wondering about this as well. I will work at a school in Gupo and one in Buam. My girlfriend will be working at two different schools near Busanjin. I know that we can only have one employer on an E2 Visa. If the schools are both in the same franchise does that qualify as "one" workplace? |
