Yeah, but the OP tried to make the argument that these men only really do this towards Korean girls.

She essentially implied that they would never do this to western women.

Please!

I think deep down she's jelous that these morons aren't making comments towards her. Sounds strange but it's true.

Kermo, you're a real women. You seem down to earth.

Don't you agree thart women (and even men) like most forms of attention? Even if it's of the crude variety. And thus when they fail to recieve it, they becoms a little jelous or feel left out.

lol im jealous that two overweight white guys didn't pay attention to me? i'm sorry but i get enough attention...i was just talking about how disrespectful that was. What is your problem really?

My problem is your belief that these guys would only make these cat call comments to Korean girls.

Have you ever been to a bar back home and heard so of the comments made towards girls back there?

I have no problem with you callling out those jackasses. It's just your observations about Korean girls which I think are false and rooted in a tiny bit of jelousy.

dude what are you going on about? i said they ignored them so the guys got pissed off and couldn't believe they were rejected. its my observation of white guys here not korean girls. Yeah back home in California it's just as bad...if not worse. Sometimes when you ignore guys they just call you a b**ch.

Gender aside, I found the funny. Come on...two Westerners yelling 'HELLO!' to Koreans? That IS funny. Usually the other way around.

Shocked

Seriously, what's the problem here?

A few drunk guys joking around. I think it's funny and you need to develope a sense of humor.

Picture some guys hollering at your girlfriend while she's walking down the street. "What's up?" followed by "Damn, look at those t!tties!" I think that's funny.

Can't really argue with that.

I don't think I have ever really thought that I was hot stuff even when I was dating someone I thought was very hot. If I ever did attain "hotness" and had confidence oozing out of me I would probably do the same thing, yelling out for girls. But the "you're loss" etc that they were doing.... either they were drunk, or retarded...

i have no idea. do Korean girls really throw themselves at the white guys...is that what makes them think they are so hot? LoL I actually like Hongdae better than Itaewon for sure...I pretty much just stick to FF it has cool music and isn't too trashy even though there are some weirdos there as well haha Razz Saw a guy with no shirt there on Friday night.

FF is shit and so is the music they play.

I got punched by a Canadian guy there who was all like "Aww, fucking American, antagonistic war monger, blah blah blah," dude was hurting for a pounding, although he did apologize for being a dick. Then after it was all good we went outside, and what does he do? Goes up to a K girl with his Korean friend who told him to, and when she is not looking, he puts his hand up her dress and squeezes her butt. It would have ben funny if he were Beavis or Butthead but he wasn't. He was a decent clean cut repsectable and educated intelligent Canadian. Twisted Evil

Hanging out in Hongdae can go to your head though, I remember I was just hanging out on a street corner with a Korean male friend there once when 2 girls randomly came up to me and wanted to chat, they asked my friend to translate everything as their English was non-existent. One of the girls accompanied us to a bar and 2 hours later I was in her knickers this despite not speaking a word of Korean, not knowing her name and never getting her phone number. These kinds of encounters, which are common, combined with the booze culture and lack of any real work can make men lose it very easily. Buffygirl you should have been sympathetic to these 2 guys plight and at the very least given them some verbal (or moral) encouragement.

Ha ha, I hear ya. Was in RMT in Itaewon and a friend introduces one of his Korean female friends. I've literally been sitting there chatting with them an hour and she says she needs to go to the bathroom and gives me the 'follow me' eyes. Drags me into the ladies, literally shoves my hand inside her and after that it was off to a norraebang for a bit of how's your father......

That said, I've had simmilar successes with other nationalities too.
