Got this txt msg yesterday: Any idea what it means?

"Gusto kong sabihin sayo na mahal na mahal kita."

I'm pretty sure that's it... we speak tagalog at home.

No, I meant tagalog, one of the primary languages of the Philippines.

And I was wrong. I added a "just" where there shouldn't have been one. The rest was correct.

Yeah, I got that part, except that he was referring to ME as the baby of the family, which I'm not. I'm the eldest. It was just non-sensical I guess.

I can't speak Tagalog, but I think it's pretty annoying and sounds silly!

Mahalkita magpahkailanman = I will love you forever.

Bahalaka suhboohaimo = It's your life (implies: you can think or do whatever you want; I don't care).
