Does anyone have any idea what's becoming of these protests? They don't seem to realyy be about BEEF now. This seems to be turning into some kind of movement.
I'd recommend anyone to stay away by all means. These people's numbers are by far more than the police boys can handle. Now that these protests are making world headlines, they will probably get worse until some government resolution is passed. I'm not sure if that would stop it either.

I don't get what they are protesting about now? Didn't the government agree to suspend beef protests? Didn't the government agree to suspending the beef imports? If so, what do they want now? |

| They don't know what they want. There's a lot of repressed anger in this country towards authority since it's so um, authoritative. This is how they're expressing it. |

I'm starting to maybe wonder the same thing or if it's deperate grasps for attention in a society of lookalikes.
I'm wondering if Bush will cancel his visit or if the Korean gov. will recommend him to postpone or scrap it.

I think now there's a large proportion of people who want nothing less that Lee Myung Bak out. His PM and cabinet have offered to resign, and apparently one or two such as the Agriculture Minister have already resigned. But, this seems not to be enough for some who are calling for the impeachment of 2MB.
That said, I think public sympathy is starting to wane if my ajumma class are anything to go by, they said they just want this matter resolved now and move on before it becomes a total farce and gets more attention overseas. |

It seems like people are going hysterical. They are acting as if 2MB is some traitor that needs to be ousted. All he did was welcome the importation of US beef. And he has agreed to suspend the imports.
I heard that his popularity now stands at less than 20%. That's less than George Bush even. However, the American people gave Bush a chance. |

that's why they hold candles by their own creed.

By the way, you don't need to parenthesize a "literate" expression, you should have used "and" before "knowledge", your sentences are not captitalized, you have misspellings and it's "I WON'T bother to educate you". Not that this is the context of the discussion at hand. |
