Ok, the title pretty much says it all -

The Official Time & Place is at Hyehwa Station, Exit 1, 8pm.

That being said, Christina, myself, and we are guessing more than a few others are off for the better part of Friday, as well.

Please sign up here if you are interested in attending. If anyone would like to meet earlier - say for appetizers, drinks, etc., then let us know.

I haven't hung out in the general area in almost 5 years (since I had a GF at Sookmyoung), so Bippity is the official social coordinator - if you have suggestions for bars, lounges, restaurants, etc. PLEASE post them up here, as well.

We hope to see you all Friday night!

Regards,

G & C

First, let's get a headcount. A fast one. I can make reservations for a wicked place called Junco, but they are always full, hence the need for a headcount.

I am up for dinner around 6:30pm, too, gajackson. I will be calling you soon, or PM me. I'm up for anything and know some good places, though many are small, hidden places, not huge party type venues, but there are plenty of places around Hyehwa for whatever size we have.

I was informed (maybe misinformed, to be fair) that KOTESOL has something going on on Sat. the 14th.

If that IS misinformed, tell me, & I'll change it. Smile

G.

Oh - fou our end, I think we have 5 people right now - 2 couples & a single. We can probably pull some names/interested parties from the 'sendoffs' thread, as well -

It's Pearson Day at Sookmyung University, with a lot of KOTESOL presenters, though!

My bad...I was telling G-man that I'd be in the neighborhood Sat for a KOTESOL thingy (concomm ya know) and could try to wing an overnighter Friday night....

...still up in the air for that (Fri the 13th) since we're planning on 2 nights in Songtan the following weekend.

Bumpity for bippity...

Ok, talked to Bip by phone this am -

we need a semi-headcount for Friday - include SOs & any friends in tow.

dinner can go off about 6 - 6:30; the genral meet-up is still set for 8pm, Exit 1. Bip has some cool places planned; it just helps to have a head count in advance.

I'm absolutely knackered right now...maybe a good power nap and I could make to the night festivities. If not, I'll see most in Songtan next weekend!

Nap time in the office.....

We are on our way into town soonish - have some errand~y stuff to do before 6.

Anyone can give either of us a call if need be -

Glen 018.376.7370

Christina 011.9128.0566

In ref to the other thread, there are usually a handful of Koreans/gyopos in attendance. We've never had an issue (that I have been aware of) at previous DESLC get-togethers.

Looking forward to seeing you all tonight!
