I used her one contract. The Lady was very helpful in every area but did not mention some important details in the contract.
This screwed me and the school and I refused to sign the contract on arrival to korea until it was edited to my satisfaction. I'm not sure if this was dishonesty or if she was just misinformed.
Reccomended but not wholeheartedly. |

In other words, make sure to be very clear, and get clear answers, and to see the entire contract before you agree to anything.
Were you working at a hagwon or public school? |

Actually neither, a 'learning institute'. You will get a full contract from her dont worry about that. My problem was because of the unique nature of the school. It used a slightly altered EPIK contract with large amounts of more or less mandatory overtime (occasional overnight stays ) that i knew nothing about. ( I was stupid enough to take a standard EPIK contract and verbal assurances). If that makes sense.
Really though, dont use just one recruiter, use lots. Do your research, dont rely on verbal assurances and you should get through unscathed. |

Oh yes, I know. I researched Korean jobs/working in Korea for an entire year before coming here, so I know the drill. But, no matter what, things can always go wrong. My contract sounded great, etc, but I have a supervisor who keeps trying to add things, and when I say no, she does them anyway. So, the problem is the supervisor, not the recruiter or contract.
I am applying to 7 jobs at the moment, but Younikorea has 3 that I am interested in, and the other two recruiters I already know about. |

I took a job from em, mostly pleased. The ad said "high school teaching". Turns out I work at a high school 3 days a week and a middle school two days a week.
I should have been more careful and asked for clarification, or gotten it written into the contract. It's a standard EPIK one so it's more or less my fault.
Otherwise though no complaints. |

OKay, so the key with them seems to be to ask a million questions and get everything in writing. I'm good at that. Just so long as the jobs don't completely ignore the contract, like my current school. |

You don't have to decide on a single recruiter, use all of them. |
