Just wanted to thank you all. Not sure I've thanked you guys yet. Maybe I have already. Anyways, I've been reading all your post for the past 2 months when I decided to come here. I was able to get a lot of valuable advice about life here and what to expect from many of you. Especially when I was able to wade through the BS. Whoever mentioned in one of their posts about bringing bed sheets, THANK YOU. it made my first night very comfortable.
This was my second day and I couldn't be happier with my hagwon, the people that work there and the foreign teachers. All are super helpful and I know the year will be a cake walk and a lot of fun. Seriously, I've only seen maybe 5 white people since I've been here not counting the people I work with. I kind of like that though.
I've made my first mistake though, that nobody on here has said a thing about. Yesterday, I rode the subway a lot. I always found I could find an empty seat towards the back of the car. yeah, I noticed people staring at me, but I thought it was because I was white and rediculously good looking. no, that wasn't it. Today, I looked up from my normal seat in the back and saw the picture on the window of the picture of the oldman, the cripple, and the pregnant lady. thankyou for nothing there.
If you saw a really well dressed guy today in Samsung Plaza trying to eat some beaf on a long stick with sauce all over his face and nice clothes and no napkin, Yes, that was me.

I prefer Western chicks, but I don't see any around. I have seen many very hot Korean girls, but yeah, it's true, theyr'e all looking in the mirror all the time. You guys were right about that. I can't help but laugh.

Oh yeah, should've mentioned that. Also, if you see a bathroom with a woman on the sign, it's for women. If there is a man on the sign, it's for men.

Just kidding. Glad things are going smoothly.

A little Alice Cooper for the Rman

Welcome to my nightmare I think you're gonna like it
I think you're gonna feel like you belong
A nocturnal vacation unnecessary sedation
you want to feel at home 'cause you belong
Welcome to my nightmare whoa oh oh oh
Welcome to my breakdown
I hope I didn't scare you
that's just the way we are when we come down
We sweat laugh and scream here
cause life is just a dream here
you know inside you feel right at home here

yeah

you're right, I don't want your meat stick.

I found the meat on a stick in Samsung station. you can't buy a drink from the dude.

I had an interesting night, I'll share it with everyone tomorrow. I made some serious K friends and even sang in one of those rooms, and I don't sing!
