oh man this was beautiful

I finish my 3rd period class yesterday and en route to the teacher's room I notice of the female Korean teachers (she's like 38 but looks 28, just got married... probably 5 foot tall and maybe 90 lbs hahahah )

has a big ass stick in her hand and these students are bending over in the hall and she's going to whip them!!!

so run down the hallway, fast... not wanting to miss the spectacle.

do a good slide..... to get into position (weeeeee.. those slippers and that floor are slippery! shit. I haven't done this in years... since I've been a little boy! feels great!

so I'm thinking she's just going to kind of tap them but she just unloads and it's like WHACK! WHACK! WHACK!!!!!

I winced just hearing it!!!

later she says... "they interrupted my lecture"..

hahahahahahahah

God I love her.. (have always liked her actually) - my mother would ADORE her. (she despises spoiled bratty kids)

so I bought her some chocolates today and said she will be a GREAT mother!!!

hahahaha.. I wish I did..

really it was hilarious. I was really taken aback by how hard she whacked them

that said .. though it stung (and probably sounded worse than felt) .. it wasn't super serious pain, the students were kind of giggling later.

and they must have really pissed her off, because she's not a bitch to begin with... actually quite pleasant/friendly, they clearly crossed some very serious line.

Nutter who sits opposite me has two love sticks. A big bamboo one and a thin willow one.

Two 1st year girls were misbehaving yesterday and she kept prodding them hard in the tit.

The teacher who sits behind me is about the same size as the one you described. Last week she had a 3rd grade middle school boy sit on the ground and write an apology letter or something explaining what he did wrong. He said something to her while he was writing that really pissed her off. She jumped out of her chair and kicked him at least 10 times before some other teachers pulled her back. The student was in tears, and still had to apologize to the teacher about 30 minutes later.

I wish my coteacher had that kind of cohones.

The 6th graders in my classes are downright disrespectful. Mostly the girls. Their homeroom teacher is really strict and they don't dare misbehave in there. So, they come to the English classroom to prove to the world that they are fully capable of defying auhtority.

These girls laugh and crack jokes while being yelled at. Even when holding their chairs in the air, they crack jokes, laugh, and think its all a big game. What I wouldn't give to see a teacher just say the smack down on them.

in that sense, I am relieved I have so few girls in my HS classes.

the boys I can physically intimidate without having to resort to any physicality... just the mere threat of it will have them wilt if approached.

the girls I really have NO idea what to do with...
though for the most part they're not an issue, I just take away their cellphones and mirrors. There are a couple who I'd really like to smack though.

I came up with a new one for some jackass in my 3rd year class today. His english is the highest in the class, but he just won't stop saying FOck. F you, f this, you're a f-up, WTF, Mother F-er... and on and on and on...That's what he got from a year in California. Rolling Eyes

So todays happy pushup number was 43. For each one he had to think of something different to say every time I said change. I love pushups. I Love my english teacher. I love XXX sem. etc. If he didn't think of something new, that one didn't count. He only did a half dozen extra pushups, and gave his english a good workout.

I used to hear whackings at the start of every period in my high school. One night the Korean teacher's asked me if I wasn't bothered by the punishments.

Hell no, I went to school in Germany for a few years and our 9th grade teacher had served in the SS. That MFer brutalized us. Punch, kick, slap, whack, berate in front of the class.

Korean teachers are amateurs. Errr...South Koreans, I've not the slighest idea what's happening in schools a few km north of here.

This is possibly the funniest thread I've read so far. This form of punishment is unimaginable in Canada.

I remember when I went to school in Korea (up until grade 2), being hit with a meter stick stung so bad. Although we were only hit on the palms. Still, we were punished as a group when one individual did something wrong. I don't know what kind of educational philosophy this is, but I guess in a way it worked because we all ended up hating this one trouble-making boy.

Too bad she's married.... Is she available for guest teaching? I have a number of students that need a 6-pack of whoop ass opened on them.
