What comes up at nonsense - the web page or the documents?

If your problem is with the web page - nothing I can do for you.

If your problem is with the documents then you need to have the "Hangul" word processor installed to use them.

If you don't have it, ask your co-teacher or the tech teacher in your school for a copy of the software.

Alternatively you can use Google and find the "Hangul viewer" and install that.

That sounds slightly flawed considering that stuff is basically the teachers guide. I guess you could print them off and then give them a paper copy of what they already have but ... yeah.

Well, my co-teacher acts like she takes ages planning lessons, but all she does is print out lesson plans, identical to the book with her own ideas added on.

That's what I'll do too.

I got the hangul viewer but apparently you can't save or copy and paste anything from that, which is a waste of time.

My co-teacher said they have an external guy who initially installed all of the software, and it seems it would be a hassle to get him in just for this.

I think long term I need hangul software installed on my laptop at home or on my pc at work.

Anyway, the good news is instead of taking ages typing my own lesson plan, I will print out these lesson plans, and make additions by hand or print it out on my co-teachers pc, or one downstairs when I can be bothered/or have spare time.

The lesson plans are always just the book with our own ppt ideas for let's review and our own ideas for let's play.

I am now so tired of the demanding nature of Koreans, I make it obvious I will do the bare minimum and make my ideas as rubbish as possible, to help my co-teacher realize I don't care very deeply about this job, it's the money and apartment I love.

You can get Hangul 2007 close to Yongsan Station. If you're coming out of exit 5 of Sinyongsan (I think exit 5, but if not the exit by the Biztel building), just keep heading straight and go into the tunnel and then talk to the guy standing by the paper sheet taped to the wall. Hangul 2007 was like 15,000-20,000 won.

I don't have Hangul loaded on this computer (I'm not at work) to check and I don't know what the lesson names are for middle school but try these and see what they are:

...and you're willing to leave your kids as roadkill on your journey to not caring.

Congratualtions on the high standards you set for yourself.

On the off chance that you really do care a little about the kids who trust you to teach them...

The GEPIK plans can be useful in some situations. They tend to be too short. If you only do what's in those plans, you usually won't fill up a class. So you should plan something extra. This is good for your development as a teacher.

The plans are obviously not written by a native English-speaker, and sometimes just aren't clear. Also, I sometimes think the plan is bad, and want to do something else. Most teachers will sometimes want to change things to suit their approach. So, you will need adjust and extend the plans for these reasons too.

In short, you need to thinnk for yourself if your going to teach. Like anything hard, it becomes fun when you start to get the hang of it.

Let me repeat myself, my co-teacher prints out these lesson plans but has access to hansoft and can therefore amend the lesson plans.

I print out those lesson plans and write on them my own ideas for let's play and review sections.

Effectively, I am doing what my co-teacher does.

If you read my posts about how my co-teacher expected me to be a 'slave' (e.g. to say yes all the time forever), shouted at me for not agreeing with her opinion, began to write things about me in her file on me, and refused to tell me what she had written in that file which lead to my complaint to the Principal....

you'd understand that I now really don't care about anything at work anymore. I will do what I have to do to get paid and if that is not impressive, I don't care.

If my employers think they can treat me like dirt and still expect me to try hard, they are are dumber than some of the posters on this forum (excluding me) Laughing
