Saunter

Walk incredibly slowly despite the fact everyone else is rushing to work and trying to get around you.

Dead Stop

To be applied randomly at will for no particular reason, mostly when 100 people are just about to overtake you: typically at the bottom of busy escalators.

zigzag

walk in a slow winding course, unpredictably moving in front of whoever is behind you, at the last possible second. This allows you to take up the space of 5 people on a busy sidewalk.

peripheral oblivion

Randomly make sudden and totally unexpected movements into space that you have not checked for presence of solid objects. if then colliding with other pedestrian, pretend they don't actually exist, or that it was their fault.

Off to See the Wizard

Walk arm-in-arm with 5-8 of your closest friends, taking up the entire sidewalk, and not moving out of the way of anyone, forcing them to use the street to go around you.

In my experience, they will break those arm locks when they stop pretending not to notice me heading directly at them.

I just use it as an excuse to play Red Rover, although here I don't play it nearly as dirty as I did when I was a grade schooler.

generally occurring between 7:00pm and 1:00am, where one man is hoisted by two others in an attempt to walk home after a bout of heavy soju drinking

The treadmill trudge

Done backwards, this helps to prime all the important leg muscles in preparation for all other forms of Korean walking.
Under no circumstances should this be attempted without accessories such as a cellphone and/or coffee.

HA HA!.....absolute classics. As someone who has lived here for a good few years I know all these very well.

I laughed out loud at some of these!

How about this one? -

'The Totally Oblivious To Others While Using Handphone Walk.'

This is done preferably on a really busy sidewalk. Handphone is held next the ear with elbow sticking out at 90 degree angle whilst user gabbles nonsense, walks & looks directly to the front, totally ignorant of anything else. This forces others to move out of the way or get aforementioned elbow jabbed into face.

Street crossing dash...
Zero to pants-on-fire in about 2 seconds! Gang way!!

School girl spurt...
Usually youngish females who (due to a sudden revelation?) break into a run but only for a few meters or until whatever concern has passed and it is back to normal walking speed...

Alpha male dawdle

For ajosshis filled with self importance: you stride in slow motion, shoulders rotating slowly backwards and forwards and arms held out at 45 degree angle, as if supported by massive lats.
You have transcended being in a hurry because you have many minions busy doing your work for you.

Ajumma tank charge
Shove everyone out your way while pretending not to have seen them due to the large visor hiding your face.

Quietly terrified businessman

Hands joined behind the back, faking confidence, eyes constantly watching every motion of his companions, carefully monitoring what movement next to make. NOTE: Must obstruct anyone going about their normal day-to-day business.

The Love Vigilante

Occurs when a Korean and a Waygook are walking close together, hand-in-hand, or arm-in-arm. An Ajosshi will go to great lengths to position himself so as to walk between the couple and thus make it clear to the Waygook that there are repercussions for stealing one of the natives.
