I guess what the OP'er is talking about is train Seoul to Pusan. Hydrofoil Pusan to Fukuoaka. Train Fukuoaka to Tokyo. For 200 bucks? No way. But if it exists let me know! |

That would be the Korea-Japan Through Ticket. According to Korail's page on it, Seoul-Tokyo goes for around W250,000. Bargain! |

I was quoted around 600,000w Seoul/Tokyo the last week of July...is this reasonable? Too much? Too soon? too late? Should I boat it? The thought of taking a ferry does sound nice. |

I am taking a ferry to Fukuoka for about 200 USD round trip (must travel during the week) and a bus for 8800 Yen one way from FUK to TOK. I will be taking trains/buses back to Fukuoka over a week or two.
I have not purchased the tickets, but I will this week. If there is a big change in prices, I will post again...
