Just heard the bug-fogging truck making the first rounds of the season. Yay, chemicals!

The last couple of years the young guy has been walking around with the backpack unit for spraying. Then the other night it sounds like a jet taking off from our drive between the apartment buildings. I look outside and this Bongo truck has this mammoth unit on the back of it spraying our this cloud of chemicals that must have shot about 25 - 40 meters. It was a sight. I bet any bugs just got the stuffing slapped out of them and that was what killed them rather than the chemicals killing them. It was funny to watch, and the kids that normally play around were no where to be seen, thankfully.

Laughing Yeah, I was coming down the lift in my building this morning on my way to work and I could smell toxic chemicals. Sure enough, when I got off on the ground floor, the whole entrance room was so foggy, I couldn't even see my hand in front of my face! I held my breath and ran outside, but I could still feel it in my nose and throat for the duration of the morning...something tells me that can't possibly be good for my health! Laughing

it comes round once a week where i live, down south. Its great watching all the kids happily chasing the fogger down the street outside our school, laughing and playing in all the toxic fumes whilst the parents and bus drivers watch on unconcerned......unbelievable!!

A poster of this board, maybe it was 'tiger beer' (not sure) once wrote about the sound of high heels clicking along down the hallway or road. (and making your head turn?) I forget which; but I always think about summer when I remember his words. The sound of clicking high heals can be in any season, but in summer it means so much more.
