Just testing an idea here: Who would buy a pack or packs of Camel cigarettes if they were available in Korea? Suppose I brought some Camels back to Korea and sold them for 8,000 won a pack? This is the price of a pack in Chicago. Any hypothetical takers? |

Ohh man...tempting. thats my brand but 8,000 is too much when you can get a pack of Marlboros or Par-li-men-tu li-uh-tuhs for 2,500. I'll just (HACK) stick (COUGH) with those (COUGH COUGH) for now. |

If you bring back Camel Turkish Jade 100's (or regular size, as long as they aren't lights) I'd gladly give you 10,000 a pack |

My husband bought Camels in Busan the other weekend for 5k/pack... I don't think he's been able to find them here in Seoul, though. They also had Lucky Strikes. |

Camel lights were buy one get one in Florida for most of the time a couple of years ago before I left. It ended up costing around $4.20 for 2 packs. The Camel reps were always doing promotions as well where you could buy one and get two free coupons for about the same price. Are Camels really that expensive now ($8 a pack)? |

In Chitown they are $8 a pack. This is high for the USA. But other Western countries tax the hell out of them and charge even more.
Trixoin_Failure, you might have yourself a deal at 8,000 a pack. |

Why are Camels so pricey? I don't remember them being any different from Marlboro's during my smoking days. |

Camels are the same price as Marlboros or other name brands. But they aren't available in Korea, so people may be willing to pay more.
This was test, just a test, of the emergency broadcast system. |

They sell Camels at the foreign goods shop in Sinchon, next to the park, behind Hyundai Department Store.
It's between a pharmacy and a 닭갈비 joint. Red sign with white lettering, something like "여기서..." |
