I don't have an answer, but I do know that if I were to be in charge of a propaganda campaign to weaken an enemy, I'd hope to come up with an idea as effective as this one.
Is it possible that the Truthers are dupes of al-Queda? Is it possible they are the greatest enemies of Western governments and what they say they are defending--kind of an inadvertant suicide pact? |

| It is a ridiculous question. There are so many different professional, academic, and citizens groups out there among others trying to reveal what actually happened that day, it would be a conspiracy too big for even you to believe. |

You overstated your case there, bubby. I'm not the one who believes in conspiracy theories.
Since you are someone who does, do you have any insights into who, if any, of the big names in conspiracy theory might be on the payroll of enemies of our country? |

Why are all my conspiracy theories "theories," and all your conspiracy theories "conspiracies?" Oh, that's right, you have a monopoly on the truth.
Are you asking if Usama bin Laden is paying off Steven Jones, for example?
I do know that Public Enemy of our Country #1 George Bush had Condi Rice on the payroll when she said, "Nobody would ever have thought people would fly planes into buildings" after branches of the service had done multiple rehearsals for just such a contingency, so I guess that qualifies for you. |

We've been over this before. The short answer is that a conspiracy explains why one and only one event happens. A conspiracy theory is not a theory about one event, but an attempt to explain the whole world.
I would be quite happy to change the phrase 'conspiracy theory' to 'twisted distorted sick paranoid view of the entire world' if that would suit you better.
But you're getting away from the point of this thread. Is it possible that 'some' people could be the unwitting tools of the enemy? |

Most of the truth movement funds come straight out of the pockets of the people who are involved.
The premise of OP is utterly flawed. By true enemies, you are referring to the 9-11 conspirators and anyone else who condones them. You have accepted these people to be AQ and any other organization directly or indirectly linked....period.
Now if you had any clue, you would know that these people openly admit they played a hand in 9-11 (initially they denied it, for example, OBL).
Now why would an enemy, who openly admits involvement, fund a group that could quite possible take the attention away from them?
Seems a little silly don't you think? |

Please, direct me to the source that leads you to believe that Al Qaeda has openly admitted they played a hand in 9/11. I mean, do they have an office somewhere, a web site?
And please, reveal to us your secret, how do you know 'these people' are indeed Al Qaeda? Who told you they were? The same people who told you that "19 Arabs with box cutters" pulled off 9/11?
