There's this Cigarette brand I usually see in most convenient stores called "Lo Crux"; a Hyundai car model called Bongo. Saw an academy not too long ago with the name Dingdingdingdongdongdong or something like that. My director recently bought me a toothpaste brand calls Spinx and there's a huge label on the ouside that said "Anti-calculus" I have no idea that supposed to mean and a hogwon chain named Toss English, lol! |

Calculus (dental), deposits of calcium phosphate salts on teeth, also known as tartar.
the first time I went to the dentist in Korea he said, "no calculus", i didn't know what it meant either.....
i like the chocolate bar called "crunky" |

Funny if you're British (or South African, or from anywhere else where 'fanny' means 'front bottom'):

Written on the box of a Lotte (or Crown or something, I forget) confection product:
You know that sweet things make smile. We love to see you smile with your people. So just taste this cake.
I found it amusing. |

You see cookies from strange places. At the local Super is a yellow pack of cookies called 'Cultural Starch'. I live in the boonies of Korea but the Super also had coodies from Holland.
The 'Cultural Starch' has 'three in one'. Lobster, cheese, and some other flavour. They are little Ritz shaped wafers paper thin. Made in Hong Kong.
Cheap. |
