Just a word of warning.
I bought my 24" just over a year ago and it's starting to get some very unsightly vertical (color) lines running through it.
We called PCBANK to check on the warranty, and it expired in May.... 2 weeks ago.

Gotta' hate that.
Anyone have any good deals on a large monitor? |

The BenQ range get good press in the west and don't seem to be too expensive in Korea. Around 380,000 for a 24incher. |

Can you just get the monitor fixed? You can buy a 24" panel for what 150k-200k? maybe a little more and just swap it. |

PCBank quoted me 300k including "shipping" (a guy driving it for 5 minutes from Youngsan to my house). |

Yeah, I was suggesting that you don't go through PCBank but through an LCD company (there are lots in Korea) that supplies LCD panels. I've had success of replacing LCD screens for notebooks.
I've seen a few LCD shops in Yongsan though I'm not sure if that's within your area. You can also try a search on danawa or something similar that just sells panels. I'd try if I had the time now.
Failing that, buy another PCBank |
