Not taken by the new URL bar. Somewhat annoying. |

I thought the "awesomebar" was one of the high-points. I mean, instant keyword search of bookmarks and history; it's genius.
Super fast and user-friendly, too. Love this new version.
Be sure to download it this morning for the "world-record downloads in a day" attempt. |

On the left of the address field, there is a wee page icon for blocking images and stuff from a particular site. Maybe it was on the last one, but I never seen it .
Anyhoos, it stops pictures such as daves mug and the nice pictures. It doesn't stop avatars, as they come from other sites, so you still need to use AdBlock Plus. |

I'm dumping Firefox because when you watch certain news videos (like on FoxNews) it stops playing the commercial if you hide the window while that commercial is playing. I don't care to sit and watch the advertising, so I usually minimize that window and surf something else until the commercial is done -- then I watch the news story.
IE does not yet have this problem.
I don't want to be forced to watch an ad before I get the news video. I want a choice. This has cost Firefox a customer. |

People who watch FoxNews shouldn't be allowed to use the Internet anyway. |

I'm pretty sure you can change that somehow. I'll let you know if I remember to check into it. In the meantime, God bless open source software! |

They do keep FoxNews in short bursts for you attention deficient Americans.
How long is it between adverts and news items? 30s? most of which is taken up by the FoxNews drum beat and some flashing lights. |

The new Firefox looks pretty decent, but some of my add-ons no longer work. The don't have versions that are Firefox 3 compatible yet. Damn! |
