Did you ever notice how Korean sterotypes of whiteys as drug using, big nosed, skirt chasing, dangerous criminals mirrors many white peoples conceptions of black men.
And Koreans perceptions of bubble butt, attitude giving white girls mirrors many whitey's conceptions of black girls.
It's an ironic perception that should teach us to think twice about how we judge others.
For example, many whitey ESLers complain about how they don't like Nigerians for x number of reasons, but the reasons they give are the same as what koreans have told me they don't like about white people.
As well, many Japanese and Chinese have these same stereotypes towards Koreans.

It's racism and prejudice being masked by seemingly logical reasons.

OP,

I thought your post was interesting, but please get yourself a dictionary and look up the word irony. I don't think it means what you think it means.

That would be a good point, but you're forgetting: Korean is the Master Race.

They are superior to everyone else, and we should just be thankful they don't hate us as much as black people, and let us eat Kimchi with them.

But its not really irony. Looks that way, but its not.
It would be ironic if Koreans thought they were better at speaking English then we are.

I have the answer to this question:

Korean people WANT TO BE BLACK, but they can't, so they take it out on real black people.

It's so clear: I want to be rich, I'm not, so I hate rich people. I want to be skinny, I'm not, so I hate skinny people.

I mean look at the culture: hip hop music and ....I won't go into details here....

Ok...one more: "Yo, Yo what's up?" (popular black/urban speachism) and...."Yo gi yo..iseoyo" (popular Korean speachism).

Are you seeing the light?

I always thought it was funny that most foreigners can't see the connection. I tried to explain the concept to my friend for hours but they just couldn't get it.

Ever notice how your home carpet looks a lot like your car carpet, and then you walk into Wal-Mart and their their entrance rug is made out of the same material.

And have you ever noticed these thing....on drugs?

Now, next level, have you ever stared at the back of a old man's head?

Meckwell, I don't think you're as smart as you think you are.

Quote:
irony: incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs; "the irony of Ireland's copying the nation she most hated"
(from google define)

I think this is a perfectly acceptable use of the word irony. moreover, it's actually a useful, perceptive point, unlike your misguided and incorrect english nannying.

Regarding the point of the thread, I love how people on this board rant and rave about Korean racism, but start a thread about Nigerians and watch these martin luther kings turn into bull connors.
