We all need to just kick back, put our feet up, and wait for the cops to step up to the plate and really figure out what is afoot here. I can't make head or tail of it personally.

Oh, no, they found a sixth foot!
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2008/06/18/bc-sixth-foot-found.html

I feel sorry for the person who found it...certainly after so long in the water it'd be quite foetid. It'd be hard to feel footloose and happy after an experience like that.

Whoever figures out this mystery deserves to get feted.

I would say that all the theories as to what has been going on are on equal footing.

It's quite clear however that all of these people have at least one foot in the grave.

Yes, they are all six feet under.

If you follow the course of the clockwise rotating Pacific current,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyre
you will see that the current passes Japan on its way to Canada.

Athletes foot translated into Japanese? Toe Foo

gotta hand it to you guys - lotsa good thories kicking around with some pretty good possible explanations. but the one regaridng "gangsters dumping bodies" doens't seem to have much of a leg to stand on in my opinion. I'm more inclined to run with the idea of a plane crash or boaters/swimmers who've drowned, etc. also, maybe they're running on top of the currents from asia like the article suggest is possible

when i opened this thread this afternoon, i thought the above poster was pulling my leg, but indeed a 6th foot just washed up on the Vancouver Island shore again last night - Size 10 Adidas apparently
