I have just received my visa issue no. via email from my school. Now I have to either send in my passport and forms or actually get down to London.
I read that you have to take/send your CRC and university degree to the embassy in London. As required, I sent the originals of these off to Seoul. So do I need to get these back before going any further or is it just a case of filling out the form and sending it in along with my passport and passport photos? |

Fill in the form, add the application fee, have the consular interview.
Contact your local consulate for SPECIFICS (re:interview and additional documents).
In MANY cases all you need is the application, photos, passport, fee and interview.

When I applied to get the visa in my passport after getting the visa issuance number, I did not need to give them my original diploma or CRC. What I did need to give them was a transcript which they copied. I did have a copy of the diploma and CRC but they did not need/want them. When I applied last year they asked me about the diploma but after I said they were still in Korea they did not need it before doing what they needed to do.
I would ring your embassy/consulate and confirm with them what they will need (sometimes different between them) and what are the arrangements they have in place for the Interview you will need to have assuming this is your first E2 visa. |
