Well, part of the problem is I don't know the specifics. Rather I should say I didn't. I've since handed in the corrected draft. I did not add the comma after all.

Why not just write:

"Don't mix different parts in the same container."

Right. That's the simplest solution. But I wanted to leave room for mixing different parts as long as the Delivery Notice allowed it. The idea was to allow consolidation parts to be mixed if the Delivery Notice allowed it. But no consolidation contrary to Delivery Notice specs.

Gopher,

Usually I don't use the passive voice. In fact, most of my corrections put the passive voice into the active voice. But the identity of those who were to load the containers was ambiguous.

Well, thanks everyone. At least I know now that the sentence was not a double negative, which is what I was trying to avoid.

I'd say the problem was that the sentence was ambiguous. Nothing more, nothing less.

As for puzzles, punctuate this correctly so it makes sense:
Quote:
that that is is that that is not is not is that it it is

"That, that is, is that 'that' is not 'is not;' is that it?"
"It is."

Right?

Nope. You got part of it though. Better than most people I guess.

That that is, is. That that is not, is not. Is that it? It is!
