| I've been in Korea just 1.5 years. And to get bootlegged software from a legit electronics store is just wrong. The very fact that this type of behavior is condoned by major businesses, is staggering. However, your point is well taken in that this really, in retrospect, should have been anticipated. |

I asked a co-worker to email shortly after my original post. They replied and said that the card reader should definitely work, but if it didn't, they would arrange for it to be replaced. Re the UV filter, I'm not arsed about that.
Annoyingly, after this happened, I found out that one of my other K co-workers is a camera FREAK! Had I known that, I would have asked him to help me order, then all of this could've been avoided.
